Make Up Store still had their sale going on, so I picked up two more lippencils in Mystique and Something Blue. Whilst I had zero lippencils a couple of months ago, I now have seven lol (including one I havent done a review on yet.) I tried to pick different shades that I would actually use (no bright reds) and that would go with what I allready have.

On the box they come in, this is written “Make Up Store lip pencils provides a perfect result without being sticky. We have made a high pigmented formula for easy applied and long lasting lip pencils. Before sharpening the pencil – put the pencil in the refrigirator for sharpest result possible”.

These are matte lip pencils and highly pigmented! If you let them sit on the lips a little bit after applying they will last all day long! As before, I find the matte pencils to be the softest, while the shimmery ones can drag a bit on the lips.

About a year and a half ago I did a post on how to store your Lush things. I now have a small update to that post, nothing have changed on how I store the soaps etc, that I put them in small plastic bags. Step 4 to 7 is still the same, BUT I have gotten a new container to store the whole lot in!

I got this acrylic container at a store that sells everything for home decoration, its really nice and sturdy and I think it looks nice. Now I can see what I have, without actually having to empty the whole box like I did before but can get an idea of what I have. To add some more girly-ness to the acrylic box I put some flower stickers on it. All in all I am very happy with the result and think it looks rather nice and stylish! They have been around for quuuuite a few months here in Europe, but it wasnt before they got to the states and peeps started making videos that I decided to get some. I have some in iridescent finish and matte finish, so I just decided to split them up into two reviews so it wont be too long post and its easier to divide up that way just.

The La couleur infallible is a cream/powder product. I find that the iridescent finish is more cream and the matte finish more powder when it comes to applying them. When you touch them they really feel like a cream/powder product. Its really neat! These shadows are super pigmented and easy to apply! You can use a brush or fingers. With a brush you will get a more light coverage whilst with fingers they go on more pigmented. In general, I usually apply them with the fingers, because the heat from the fingers makes it blend a bit easier. And the best thing; they wear forever! Even without a primer I did not experience any creasing. But thats something you may want to test to see what works for YOU.

From left to right: 016: Coconut Shake, 017 Sweet Strawberry and 020 Pebble Grey.

016 Coconut Shake is a matte cream colour with a hint of yellow. It looks a bit more yellow on photo than it appears in person.

017: Sweet Strawberry is a matte raspberry (lol at referring to another berry) colour. I feel it leans a biiiit more to the pink side than red, but as you can see, lovely! (Maybe could work as blush, havent tried it.)

020 Pebble Grey is a matte grey/blue colour. Pretty!

This two have a matte finish. They go on smooth and are very pigmented! They wear a long time and can be used alone or under shadow. For that purpose, I found that the matte does the best job. These are exellent shadows and I hope to see the full range soon! (since these the ones I saw misses some numbers = there must be more out there?) Great product with great quality, a favorit product!

- Body Butter (200 ml)
- Bath and Showergel (250 ml)
- Body Lotion (250 ml) ¨
- Body Scrub (200 ml)
- Lip Butter (10 ml)
- Solid Soaps, heart shaped.

I have sniffed it, and it has a more cocoa scent rather than actual chocholate. Yum, yum and yum!

I picked this up when I was abroad a couple of months ago. I like blushes and I have quite a few. I suppose you can say they are the thing I like the most makeup wise, and thats coming from the person who cant wear to much, since I have redness in my skin.

The mineralized blushes have been baked and comes in pots like this. You get 3,5 gr of product, but with baked/mineral products I always feel like they last longer than regular. I would say the weartime on this is around 8 hours. Thats the longest I have been wearing makeup the last couple of months. The blush goes on smooth and dont feel chalky at all. There is some fall out, so dont swirl the brush in the product, but dab the brush on the product to pick some up.

The colour on Gentle is beautiful. It is a deep berry/raspberry with gold shimmer. (I suck at describing colours) that I think will look best on light and medium skintones. I am fair myself, and I think it looks nice. On darker skin I think this would disappear a bit. It has some noticable shimmer to it, so if you dont like, dont buy! This can be used with a fluffy brush for a light wash of colour or a more dense brush for, you guessed it, more impact. Either way, love this blush and if I can (lets see what mr. piggybank says lol) I will get more in the future!

Feel I almost have explain myself here, I have been going through and cleaning out my makeupstash in order to actually use what I have and simplify it. And in that, I have collected some things I dont like and that I am not going to even give away. In this things you will find this “lash serum” and yesterdays eyebrow styler.

I got the Renewal Lash Serum ages ago. When I bought it, it was this little info that says that 87% of women saw bigger lashes etc. But as we all know, they will tell us anything to sell products. But I thought to myself, a good lash conditioner is nice to have. To keep my lashes looking nice and healthy and prevent eyelashes falling out to much. So I bought this and decided to give it a fair chance.

But this was a big waste of money and it isnt to cheap either. It is easy to apply, but it makes your lashes so dry and crunchy! It takes like two sec to dry and makes any application of mascara after this impossible. Or if you force the mascara on, it looks terrible. Think spiderlashes times a zillion! I have a few mascaras and such I like from L`oreal. But this product… it actually made my lashes fall out, as they became so stiff that when I itched or touch my lashes they fell out! And even after using it regulary for a month I didnt see a difference, but I did notice my lashes fell out! So save your money and get a good mascara or something, this product is not worth buying!

Le terrible product!

I was looking through some brow products, and thought “hey, this looks interesting” its a stick eyebrow pencil. It is a wax that promise long lasting result. Since I have somewhat long hairbrows (hot, eh?) they can stick out if I dont groom them proper. So I thought to myself, this I must give a try!

But there isnt really anyway else to desribe this product with, than fail. It applies easy and without pulling on the skin. But the look… it litteraly glues the brows to the skin so it looks like you have no brows, or if you do, you look like they havent seen soap and water for years and the look is incredible greasy! This is a waste of money, and the only time I can find use for this, is for halloween to, yes, glue down my eyebrows so I can cover them up…

This is sooo close to going in the trash…

I have always bought hand creams in the intention of using them, but I have never had most dry hands so they have been piling up… But this year (well, last year lol) my hands suddenly became so dry! It was like all moisture was sucked out of my hands and they felt uncomfortable all the time. Then I thought it was a good time to pull out my box (a small box!) of hand creams to try out, what better way than using them now?

The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector is a hand cream that I untill recently only used at night because I thought it was to greasy. If you find this to be to greasy, apply a small amount and add more as needed. This is a very very thick and rich cream for super dry hands, so if you have “normal” hands, this will probably be to much.

Its really thick and moisturising, but takes a while to sink in. But once it has sunken in, it will stay on quite a few hours, even if you wash your hands. The scent is earthy, and very unisex friendly. It will last a long time as you only need a small amount, and this winter have been very dry here, so I have almost used up a whole tube in just a few weeks! The key ingredients are: hemp seed oil, allantoin and panthenol.

A really rich hand cream, just give it time to sink in!
