How To: Storing and Organizing your Lush Cosmetics Products

This is how I store and organize my Lush Cosmetics Products!

Lets get started….

1. How to store.

I prefer to store my products in a hat box, because then it looks both stylish and less messy than if you were to keep your things in a open container of some sort. The hatbox I have looks both nice and at the same time keeps most of the lush stash from shampoo pucks to soap! And you also want to store your box in a cool place, NOT in the bathroom. I store mine in my closet in my room, its cool and dry there!

2. Size of the box.

You dont want the box to be too big, since then the purpose of storing it in a pretty hatbox goes away. You should be able to find what you need without having to empty the box every single time you need a soap. But, of course, if you want to do that, thats not a problem! I just like to have it so I can put my hand in the box and take what I need without having to dig around to much.

3. How to store your soaps and more.

Storing of the individual items is the most important part. I cannot recommend enough that you get medium size zip lock bags to keep your soaps/shampoo/bathbombs in. That way they stay fresh, not mix scents and are in general just more hygenic! You dont want to turn your precious products bad before time. And in my opinion, use the products as long as they smell fine and looks good. Even though they are over a year old.

4. Photos of how I store the items in the plastic bags. Massagebars.

The massagebars I put in a bag, and write the name on. Well, just write the name on the bag first and the date so you know when you got it. I prefer to use the massagebars whole and I dont cut them like I do with soaps.

5. How to store soaps.

Soaps I usually cut into small chunks when I pack them. So when I want to use them I can just take it straight to shower without having to cut it because I forgot it. I recommend doing this because 1.) the soap is easier to use and 2.) the product dont melt and waste if you happen to forget it in shower. I will post soon on do`s and don`t about soaps alone!

6. How to store solid shampoos.

Shampoo pucks I dont cut, because they have the perfect size to use and its a huge mess to do so. When it comes to solid shampoos like Trichomania and The Blond I do the same way as soaps and cut them in pieces. Just be carefull when doing this because the solid shampoos are pretty crumbly!

7. What I use to store products.

These are the plastic bags I use to store my products in! You should find then in any store for a penny!

Hope you liked this organizing post!
