Review and photos of the Dual Foundation from Makeup Store!
I have been looking for a foundation in a compact for a long time, just because I am getting bored of the mineral powder foundation, liquid foundation and wanted to try something I have never tried. I went to Makeup Store because the staff is trained makeup artists and are bit more skilled than other staff, beside they have a big collection of different types of foundations in warm and cool tones. Even though I love The Body Shop, but the foundations are a bit so so, and here they dont have all the shades so I usually dont find my color match.
Into the Makeup Store I went, looking for a foundation compact. My choice was finally Dual Foundation because you can use it dry and wet and get a more sheer or full coverage of the skin. It is buildable, you can add a few layers without it looking chalky so thats good. All in all I am very happy with this foundation, it feels silky smooth (it has sheabutter in it among other good things) has a good coverage. The London shade has a cool tone which is good for those of us with redness and are fair.
Its a compact so it comes with a mirror, sponge and of course the foundation so it great to keep in the bag for touchups during the day. The sponge is nice I think, it feels like a latex sponge, just wash it once in a while and replace when to dirty and you should be good! I think this foundation is good for any skintype, but if you have dry skin I would make sure to moistorise proper first otherwise it could lead to dry looking skin. But, all in all, good foundation and well worth trying! So, I put a “Recommended by SuperDamask” at the Dual Foundation from Makeup Store!
Sorry for the picture heavy post, but felt it was necessary to add all photos. Unlike eyeshadows, foundations are so important and it is so so important to get the correct shade so you dont look dead or like someone from a certain show where they tend to be… very very tan and to much makeup. I did a swatch, I will add it, but lets face it, you probably wont get the same shade as me lol. But overall, the Dual Foundation is great! I have combo skin and I love it! If you have dry skin, you may want to consider another foundation. I think it will work on most skintypes beside dry and very dry, because the foundation will emphazise the dryness. All in all, great foundation!
